about delaney

Delaney Shea is a Brooklyn-based theatre artist, disability advocate, and proud member of the Cherokee Nation originally from Oklahoma City. Born with a rare bone condition, she is passionate about breaking glass ceilings and expanding representation for disabled women in theatre. A lifelong lover of music and acting, Delaney earned her BA in Theatre, Directing, and Digital Film/Media from Oklahoma City University in May 2024.

Most recently, Delaney toured 35 out of 50 states in the Broadway National Tour of The Addams Family, where she brought Cousin Itt and the Bride Ancestor to life. Her past credits include Grease, Snapshots: A Musical in 13 Minutes, Sticks and Stones, and A Christmas Carol.

When she’s not onstage, Delaney is likely playing video games, up-cycling clothes, hanging out with her four cats, or listening to divorced dad rock. She approaches both life and performance with curiosity, humor, and a deep love for storytelling.
